This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a lab environment, enjoys problem-solving in real time, and is excited about working on production systems that support active satellite missions. Additional experience with RF engineering is a bonus. You'll have the opportunity to make a direct impact by enhancing existing platforms and helping deliver solutions used by teams across the organization.THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUIn this role, you'll focus on building and integrating software systems that simulate satellite behavior and emulate radio communication environments. Your work will bridge multiple components into a unified platform.Day-to-day, you will:Develop and enhance software that integrates satellite simulation, channel emulation, and radio modeling systemsTake ownership of implementing a new operational mode for an existing channel emulatorBuild and maintain software that connects simulation environments with emulation infrastructureRevive and modernize radio simulation software to ensure compatibility across the systemCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a platform that can be leveraged across the organizationKEY SUCCESS FACTORSStrong Python development experienceHands-on experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, AWS Batch) and CI/CD conceptsAbility to work across systems and integrate multiple software components into a cohesive platformExperience with Docker or other containerization technologiesNICE TO HAVESExposure to RF systems, radio communications, or telecommunications conceptsExperience working with simulation or emulation environmentsBackground in aerospace, satellite systems, or networking technologiesSystems engineering mindset with the ability to bridge software and infrastructureAbout INSPYR SolutionsTechnology is our focus and quality is our commitment.
