Visit our institutional page https://international.nubank.com.br/careers/As a Senior Security Engineer, you're expected to:Create and implement security controls in cloud and non-cloud based environmentsAutomation of security controls to avoid operational burden and monitoringBecome the Business Unit trusted advisor for all things information securityUnderstanding root causes of issues and problems, collaborating with others to work on solutions.Creating strong relationships with diverse teams, by coordinating communication between different audiences, teams and stakeholdersCommunicating fluently with diverse global teams in English and Spanish.Establish and maintain a first-line security risk management and compliance-driven practice that ensures Nubank avoids taking unnecessary risks and is hit by security tragedies.Ensure all security risks are adjudicated and tracked including 3rd party suppliersEnsure security is proactively addressed during business service/product/technical design, build and implementationEvangelise security awareness and best practices in the Business Unit.What We Are Looking For:Demonstrable and firm understanding of security and engineering practices and how they relate to delivering business outcomesCapable of articulate and negotiate complex security risks and trade-offsA self-motivated problem solver who is able to communicate effectively across functional teamsOrganised and flexible thinker with Risk Management experienceExperience working implementing and automating security controlsExperience working with AWS and GCPExperience working with Okta and IAM toolingExperience working with visualization tools and platforms like Looker, Databricks, etcGeneral knowledge in ISO, PCI, NIST security frameworksExperience working with regulatory requirements (SPEI, CUB, PCI, NIST, ISO)General knowledge in databases and applicationsGeneral knowledge of programming languages and scripting languagesGeneral knowledge of cloud infrastructure (private or public), microservices and distributed environments.Proficiency in English and Spanish.We believe in good team chemistry, enthusiasm for building things, and our surprising capacity to learn new things when we stay humble and open-minded.
