QC Analyst II (Chemistry)LaboratoryRensselaer, New York, USAdded - 20/05/2026QC Analyst IIAlbany, NYPay Range: $30-47/hrAvailable Shifts:• 1st Shift - 6am-6:30p on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule (every other weekend)• 3rd Shift - 6pm-6:30am on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule (every other weekend)Starts out on a 6 month contract with strong potential of extension and/or conversion!About the RoleWe are seeking experienced QC Analyst II professionals to support analytical testing and laboratory operations within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical/manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing analytical testing, supporting laboratory instrumentation, assisting with investigations, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.Candidates with strong analytical chemistry, chromatography, and pharmaceutical QC laboratory experience are highly encouraged to apply.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform analytical testing for incoming raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samplesUtilize laboratory instrumentation including balances, pipettes, pH meters, UV/Visible spectrophotometers, TOC analyzers, HPLC, UPLC, GC, IR, and other analytical equipmentPerform chromatography and wet chemistry assays with minimal supervision and trainingConduct raw material testing and/or sampling activitiesSupport analytical instrument calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting activitiesMaintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and audit readinessAssist with QC method qualifications, method transfers, validations, and method development activitiesSupport cleaning validation studies and evaluation of new laboratory equipment and processesReview analytical data and provide summaries and documentation support to QC managementAssist with investigations related to OOS results, deviations, CAPAs, and quality eventsSupport analytical sample receipt, processing, shipment coordination, tracking, documentation, and result distribution activitiesEnsure compliance with GMP, SOP, safety, and data integrity requirementsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related scientific discipline preferredPrevious QC analytical laboratory experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or regulated manufacturing environments requiredHands-on experience with HPLC, UPLC, GC, wet chemistry, UV, IR, and analytical instrumentation strongly preferredKnowledge of GMP, laboratory documentation, and quality systems requiredExperience supporting investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and method validation activities preferredStrong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and documentation skillsAbility to work independently within fast-paced laboratory environmentsAdditional Information• Multiple openings available across all shifts• Position begins as a contract opportunity with potential for long-term growth• Candidates with strong chromatography and pharmaceutical QC backgrounds are highly preferredINDBHWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
