Project Control Coordinator

ESI is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Project Controls Team in Kennesaw, Georgia. The Project Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of project documentation, and vendor/client communication and support. The ideal candidate would be willing to research and embrace new technology and processes as ESI strives to remain at the spearhead of innovation within the industry.Responsibilities:Work with design, supply-chain, manufacturing, and construction teams to optimize document transmission.Utilize our document management systems (Procore & ACC Build) to monitor and expedite vendor submittals, invoicing, purchase order information, delivery documentation and turnover deliverables.Work with other document control members to properly coordinate and route design drawings and assist with bid package development for vendors.Develop standardized document folder structure within Procore and maintain document accessibility by all users.Coordinate and update project specific Procurement Status Report utilizing MS Excel for daily/weekly updates.Expedite information/documents/delivery schedules with vendors. Monitor their progress with regards to adherence to contractual timelines and milestones.Gain institutional knowledge of current document control processes. Continue to refine and evaluate our current process models to align with efficient digital execution. This will include development of a document archival and retention process in conjunction with Procore procedures.Work with on-site personnel to ensure that all documentation received at the job site level is properly routed within Procore. This includes delivery information, turnover documentation, O&M Manuals, as-builts or any field received drawings that need to be captured and distributed.Develop weekly expediting reports to forecast critical vendor/subcontractor submittal deliverables and/or equipment deliveries. These shall be presented to the project team during the weekly Project Procurement Meeting, and a weekly expediting report shall be developed at the end of each week.Develop process monthly scorecard/checklist for all Expediting and Document Control Processes.Perform drawing audits for both internal and external project specific drawings. Prepare overdue submittal reports to focus engagement with the most critical outstanding items. Requirements:Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and/or Engineering.A minimum of 2 years of experience in Document/Project Controls.Experience with Procore or a similar document management system.Understanding of supply-chain/vendor practices and typical requirements.Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).A self-starter with a track record of meeting deadlines.Ability to work with a wide range of personalities in a fast-paced project-oriented environment.
