Residential Program Manager - I/DD
Ashland Supportive Housing has provided residential and supportive services for adults who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities in Ashland since 1982. We are looking for a Residential Manager for a home housing 5 adults with I/DD. The right candidate will be a natural leader with a passion for working with people, and enthusiasm for supporting people's rights. Requirements include a minimum of 2 years experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a 24 hour residential setting, the ability to pass a DHS background check, and a valid Oregon driver's license. Medical or CNA experience a plus. Covid vaccination required.
The Residential Program Manager is part of a team at ASH. The duties for this position listed below include but are not limited to:
All areas of employee management; including conducting staff meetings, interviewing, scheduling, training, evaluations and shift coverage. You will be responsible for ensuring our staff members are set up for success when coming on shift.
Assist in creating and implementing Individual Service Plans.
Ensure each resident has routine and equal access to the community and preferred activities, either through assigning staff or direct assistance.
Ensure all medical needs are met, documented adhered to and arrange any training necessary.
Maintain all financial records including client accounts and household spending accounts.
Monitor facility maintenance. Supervise and assist staff in ensuring a clean, safe and healthy environment.
Supervise and maintain accurate on-going record keeping and charting, logs, data collection, appointments, protocols and general documentation.
Ensure all clients' rights are upheld and that care is provided in a manner that is respectful of the individuals likes and dislikes and is in accordance with the Individual Service Plan.
Medication management and supervision.
Compensation: $50,960 annually to start. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, alternative health care, paid vacation, sick time, and optional retirement contributions with up to a 3% employer match. We also have an Employee Assistance Program that includes counseling, financial and legal services for employees and their immediate family members.
