Direct Care Companions

Lifesteps, a local, human service agency that has been in business for over 100 years, is immediately hiring compassionate and caring staff to work with adults who have disabilities in a residential home setting in Pittsburgh, PA  (Bellevue - West View - North Side areas). Direct Care Companions (also known as Caregivers) assist special needs individuals with their activities of daily living and home care. Duties can include: Cooking and serving meals Cleaning the house Shopping for groceries and supplies Personal care assistance like grooming or bathing Medication administration Individual goal attainment assistance Community Outings and fun activities  Lifesteps offers steady, full-time hours!   Available Shifts are:                                         Monday - Friday -- 1:30 pm to 9:30 pm  Early Afternoons                                      Weekend Overnight Block --  9:00 pm to 9:00 am Sat & Sun  Part-Time Hours also available.  Shifts -- 7 am to 3 pm  Sat & Sun,  or   Evening Shift  3 pm to 11 pm   Sat & Sun.       Flexible scheduling also available.    Good second income or side hustle.      Call to discuss options.
