Join our team and make a significant impact on cutting-edge weapon systems.As a Principal Project Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the development of innovative air-based systems. You'll lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee technical solutions, and ensure projects meet cost, schedule, and quality targets.Key Responsibilities:Lead dynamic and multidisciplinary development teams within the Weapon Systems Integration (WSI) product line.Oversee all phases of the development process, from initial design to final delivery.Collaborate with Systems, Hardware, Software, Production, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure project success.Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.Coordinate proposal development and technical reviews.Manage risk and opportunity management processes.Monitor and measure project performance using Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques.Serve as the primary project interface with supporting business functions.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline or related field.MBA or Masters in Engineering preferred.Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in engineering or project management.Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Systems engineering experience, including requirements management, IV&V, and lifecycle management.Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, Windows, Project, and scheduling practices.Ability to gain or current US Government Secret Security Clearance.US Citizenship is required.Desired Skills:Experience managing traditional and Agile teams.Proposal development experience.Technical leadership capabilities, including the ability to resolve complex technical challenges.Proficiency in CREO or other CAD programs.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.Benefits: Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans401k Retirement FundCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for professional growth and developmentSupportive and collaborative work environment About the Company:Global provider of operational support services, training, and converged environments for government and commercial clients.
