Restaurant General Manager

A well-regarded restaurant in Minneapolis is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead and elevate all aspects of the operation. This role is ideal for a dynamic and operationally driven leader who can balance financial performance, team development, and an exceptional guest experience within a high-quality restaurant environment.The Restaurant General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full restaurant operation, including front-of-house, beverage, and service execution. This individual will play a key role in driving profitability, building a strong service culture, and partnering with culinary leadership to ensure a cohesive and elevated dining experience.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all daily restaurant operations, ensuring seamless execution across service, beverage, and guest experienceDrive overall financial performance, including revenue growth, labor management, and cost controls (COGS)Lead, develop, and mentor management and hourly teams, fostering a culture of accountability and hospitality excellenceCollaborate with culinary leadership to ensure alignment between front-of-house and kitchen operationsMaintain and elevate service standards, ensuring a consistent and high-quality guest experienceOversee scheduling, staffing levels, and labor efficiency to align with business demandsManage inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships across all operational areasEnsure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulationsSupport and guide the beverage program in partnership with bar leadership, ensuring alignment with the restaurant's conceptAct as the face of the restaurant, engaging with guests, resolving concerns, and building repeat clienteleQualificationsProven experience as a Restaurant General Manager or senior restaurant leader in a high-quality or upscale dining environmentStrong financial acumen with experience managing P&L, labor costs, and operational budgetsDemonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teamsDeep understanding of service standards, guest experience, and restaurant operationsExperience overseeing beverage programs, including cocktails, wine, and bar operationsHands-on leadership style with a strong presence on the floor during serviceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work flexible hours including evenings and weekendsWhat the Role OffersThis position offers the opportunity to lead a respected Minneapolis restaurant while shaping its operational direction, culture, and guest experience.
