Fullstack Backend EngineerLocation: Mountain View / San Diego/ Plano Texas/ Atlanta / New York/ SFO-Any Intuit office twice a weekDuration: 6+ MonthsJob Description:We are looking for:Strong hands-on experience building/working large and complex client-facing web applications using JavaScript, React, HTML5 and CSS3.Familiarity with back-end technologies (Java).AWSHence a stronger front-end engineer with good knowledge of Java will work better.A strategic thinker with strong frontend and backend technical experience. Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization, document technical requirements, and have exceptional collaboration skills as you will interact regularly with fellow frontend and backend engineers, product managers, web marketers, and UX teams to ensure we deliver exceptional and personalized web experiences for our customers, strong results for our business, in a high-performing environment.6+ years of experience in fullstack engineering and/or product development.Strong hands-on experience building/working large and complex client-facing web applications using JavaScript, React, HTML5, and CSS3.Strong on back-end technologies (Java 8).Experience in using customer data and models to create dynamic content personalization experiences.Knowledge of database management of how user data will be collected and stored within a website or application to develop personalized web experiences.Knowledge and/or working experience working with cloud technologies. AWS preferableExperience with WordPress content management systems.Workflow and process design experience scaling teams with process and technologyUnderstanding of Agile development including daily scrum and weekly iteration reviews and planning.Understanding of Continuous Integration/Deployment/Delivery practices tools and processes.Experience with Quality Automation frameworks.Proven track record of influencing cross-functional teams and a hunger for growth.Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments.Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.Solid communication and written skills: ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.Passionate and curious about finding opportunity on process improvement.Flexible and agile attitude with ability to adapt quickly and be effective in new situations.How you will lead:Work cross-functionally with various marketing stakeholders as well as data teams and engineers across the organization to design, develop, test, deploy impactful web experiences to help drive growth.Outstanding communicator: able to map problem-solution and explain possible solutions to technical and non-technical team members.Responsible for tracks of the content lifecycle to retirement, scoping requirements to new web experiences.Ensure interlock between marketing strategy, XD, product development, and analysts.Troubleshoot site problems and fix incorrect content data as needed.Ensure product information, content, and images are displayed correctly.Oversee web migrations and operate the delivery of each migration.Gather requirements for new capabilities and documents for engineering and/or product management.Identify functional requirements for quality assurance testing to reduce engineering dependencies.Identify and problem-solve roadblocks to successful task completion, including liaising with the technical product development and engineering teams, and web marketers.Create documentation and process workflows to create scale with the team.Help build web standards and best practices guidance.Be able to work occasional off hours as necessary to meet deadlines or as part of Product Releases, and/or interact with team members in other time zones (India, UK, Australia, etc.).
