Our ER department offers 410-hour shifts; Sunday-Wednesday and Wednesday-Saturday. Minimum 2-3 years of ER experience preferred.Essential Job FunctionsTriage and assessment of cases - including alerting DVM of patients in critical conditionsPerform diagnostic tests and proceduresAdminister medications and treatments as directed by DVMProvide support and education to pet ownersMaintain accurate medical recordsRequired SkillsValid certification as a veterinary technician in the state of Oregon (CVT)Prior experience in an emergency veterinary hospitalpreferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in fast paced environment and handle stressful situations with composureStrong phlebotomy and venipuncture skillsAssisting and monitoring of surgical and sedated proceduresWhat can BVER offer?Starting: $30+ per hour (based on experience) + $5 differential between 10p-6a$5,000 sign on bonus!
