The RN accurately documents all patient information in accordance with clinic and institutional guidelines.Major Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform direct and indirect patient care, including phone triage and follow-up, using the nursing process.Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and care plans per clinic and institutional standards.Conduct patient assessments and support clinical decision-making.Provide patient and staff education as needed.Prepare for and assist with medical‐surgical procedures.Administer medications safely and accurately.Process and manage medication refill requests and follow-up.Perform venipunctures and administer IV infusions.Respond and assist appropriately during medical emergencies.Uphold UCLA Health System principles and consistently deliver high‐quality CICARE/Patient Experience practices.Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.Competency in medication administration, infusion therapy, venipuncture, and outpatient clinical procedures.Commitment to providing excellent patient care aligned with CICARE standards.Salary Range: $65.76 - $97.76/HourlyJob QualificationsPress space or enter keys to toggle section visibilityRequired:* BSN Required* Current valid CA RN License, required* BLS from the American Heart Association* Three (3) Years or greater adult Med/Surg or clinic experience as an RNAbility to complete a high-level Nursing physical assessmentKnowledgeable in Medical-surgical nursing and nursing processes application.Skill in identifying problems and recognizing abnormal diagnostic findings and /or significant changes in patient's condition.Ability to modify treatment and approaches and explain rational to patient and families.Ability to convey critical assessment data in a clear, concise manner to appropriate personnel.Skill in organizing material and information in a systematic manner to maximize efficiency and minimize duplicate effort.Ability to work effectively under conditions of fluctuating workload and frequent interruptionSkill in developing a plan of care including setting goals, monitoring and documenting progressAbility to implement interventions that are pertinent to goals established in the plan of careAbility to evaluate the effective of interventions toward the attainment of established goals and to recognize the need to reassess or reset goal parametersAbility to delegate tasks in a management style that is consistent with promoting leadership and teamworkKnowledge base to provide education to patients, families, and other staff regarding clinical and patient care issuesAs a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts an offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of substantiated misconduct with a previous employer.
