This executive will be a key member of the leadership team, serving as a financial steward and strategic partner for a large and scaling property management platform. Responsibilities include overseeing all corporate and property-level accounting and reporting, partnering with the EVP and leadership team on financial strategy, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards. The role also involves leading the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, providing executive oversight of audits and compliance, and driving process improvement and scalability through systems optimization and organizational design.Candidates for the Vice President of Accounting and Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred. A CPA is required, along with at least 15 years of progressive accounting or finance leadership experience, particularly in property management accounting and multi-entity financial environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of affordable housing programs, nonprofit reporting, and regulatory compliance, and a proven ability to partner with executive leadership. A roll-up-sleeves attitude and a commitment to a no-ego culture are also essential for this role.
