SYMVIONICS has a Current Opening for a Jr. Software Engineer at NASA Langley Research CenterON-SITE POSITIONSYMVIONICS at the NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC) inHampton, Virginia is seeking a junior level software engineer to join our team. Our Simulation and Aircraft Services (SAS) task order provides full lifecycle flight simulation software and hardware services and flight simulationinfrastructure engineering services for LaRC ground-based and flight researchsystems and facilities. Hardware services include engineering, operations, andmaintenance of the simulation hardware and software infrastructure.Infrastructure engineering services include modification of existinginfrastructure, design and implementation of new infrastructure, and supportfor simulation operations and maintenance activities.Job Description andResponsibilities:The Flight Simulation Facilities (FSF) arecomprised of computing systems including the Real-Time Computer Systems, asix-degree-of-freedom motion base, four full-sized simulator cockpits, and amulti-purpose re-configurable test and evaluation simulator. The FSF alsoinclude Systems Integration and Laboratories.We develop and support real-time,pilot-in-the-loop, manned simulations.
