Shipping Clerk

A Day In The LifeIn the position of Shipping Clerk you will be responsible for preparing outgoing shipments using the SAP platform integrated with United Parcel Service (UPS). Analyze the most cost effective of shipping Point of Sale (POS) material ground. Provide cost analysis to multiple internal departments.The Impact You'll MakeResponsible for preparing all products to be shipped via ground. Create UPS shipping labels. Accurately enter dimensions and weights.Quote shipping rates on regular basis to ensure best economical shipping method.Consolidate and summarize shipment requirement of customers' requests.Track shipments and provide proof of delivery documents to customers and customer service.Inspect packages to ensure pickers are preparing, packing in most cost-effective way prior to applying shipping label.Process call-tags and address updates upon request. Create delivery receipts and packing slips.Order UPS shipping supplies as needed. Keep a daily record of all ground/express shipments.Provide an end day shipping report. Assist on project/back orders when needed. Who You ArePrefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Business, Accounting, or related experience Additional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in warehouse distributionAdditional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in shipping software, warehouse management systemsComputer Skills Desired: Intermediate SAP & Microsoft Office skillsPreferred Certifications: Forklift Certification preferredAdditional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: N/AMonster Energy provides competitive total compensation.
