Technical Sales Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTIONInsight Global is hiring a Telecom Sales Engineer on behalf of a client in El Paso, Texas. The ideal candidate will have industry experience in carrier sales with the ability to help create complex telecom solutions for clients including networking and managed services. This role requires a candidate to be in office 3 days per week, with occasional light travel within the state. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEFive or more years of experience as an Engineer in telecommunications industry selling strategic productsHistory of designing LAN and WAN technologies, Managed Router, Firewall, Security, SD WAN, SASE and other cloud-based solutions with the ability to identify opportunities and design custom solutions for our clienteleCCNA level knowledge in networkingBachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experienceExpert in telecommunications, networking technologiesFamiliar with Salesforce; Proficient in Microsoft Office Excellent presentation & whiteboarding skillsAvailability to travel to and from assigned territories and company facilities.Valid driver's licenseExcellent communication skills NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEUnderstanding and experience creating solutions with Fortinet product suite
