As a Sales Support Representative, you are responsible for generating new business while managing and growing the activity of existing customers. You will manage the administrative responsibilities of the sales cycle while developing the skills for progress within the sales team.ResponsibilitiesAccurately place orders into the system from customer-issued PO'sFollow‐up on orders to ensure their successful delivery within customer expectationsLead open order management, ensuring that open orders are delivered to the customer expediently and accuratelyConfirm that all invoicing activity is taking place in a timely and accurate mannerTake a proactive role with problem resolution at the customer and supplier levelsLearn about the programs available at major vendor suppliers in order to source products via the most advantageous price to ePlusAssist customers with returns issues, order inquiries, and any other requests for informationDevelop successful relationships with sales, vendors, and internal departmentsAssist with quotingOffer add‐on opportunities to customers such as warranty uplifts, service agreements, accessories, or suppliesUse proper decorum in all communications with customers both internal and externalProjects and additional responsibilities as needed or assignedQualifications1+ years of sales or customer service experienceKnowledge of computers, networking, and the IT industry as a wholeExcellent communication/phone skills are a mustAbility to prioritize and multitask is a mustMust be a team player with a positive attitudeKnowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products is a mustPosition Specifics The initial base salary range for this position is expected to be between $19.23 and $24.04 hourly. The final base salary offered will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job‐related knowledge, depth of experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
