Our focus is creating longer-lasting, environmentally responsible roofing solutions that can withstand all weather conditions.Job Title: Continuous Improvement Engineer| Req ID: 15928 | HR Contact: Elizabeth Bertapelle| Location: Building Envelope - Oklahoma City, OKABOUT THE ROLEThe Continuous Improvement Engineer will apply basic statistics, Six Sigma, and Lean techniques to monitor key processes and lead continuous improvement initiatives that reduce variation and streamline manufacturing. This position will work closely with the Plant Manager, Operational Excellence Leader, and multiple functions within Malarkey.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGServe as a strategic subject matter expert for manufacturing processes, driving innovation and operational excellence.Develop and implement advanced methodologies, tools, and best practices to optimize start-ups, changeovers, and troubleshooting, ensuring seamless and efficient production performance.Act as a key liaison between engineering and operations to ensure seamless project transitions.Drive manufacturability assessments, lead cross-functional collaboration, and proactively address potential operational challenges before project deployment.Spearhead the creation, implementation, and governance of process maps, specifications, and control plans.Oversee the continuous review and refinement of technical documentation to ensure standardization, compliance, and operational efficiency.Lead and facilitate high-impact Kaizen events, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Identify systemic inefficiencies and spearhead data-driven initiatives to eliminate waste, enhance workflow, and minimize operational errors.Design and implement dynamic, competency-based training modules that leverage digital tools, real-time analytics, and hands-on learning to enhance workforce skill development.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORA bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial) is required.Five to seven years of continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in continuous manufacturing operations, is required.Strong technical writing and statistical analysis skills to create and implement process specifications and control plans.Proficiency in Minitab is preferred.Possesses excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.WHAT WE OFFERCompetitive salary: $80,000-$100,000Retirement Savings: Choose from 401(k) pre-tax and/or Roth after-tax savingsEmployee Stock Purchase PlanMedical, Dental, Disability, and Life InsuranceHolistic Health & Well-being programsFlexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) for health and dependent careVision and other Voluntary benefits and discountsPaid time off & paid holidaysPaid Parental Leave (maternity & paternity)#MALARKEYAmrize is an equal opportunity employer.
