We are seeking a Locum Tenens Gastroenterology Physician in Maine. Locum Tenens Gastroenterology Physician Position Type: Locum TenensSpecialty: Physician - GastroenterologyLocation: MaineRate: Open & NegotiableShift: Monday Friday, 8-hour days with a 30-minute lunchStart Date: June 2025 (July at the latest)End Date: November 2025 Position Details: Endoscopic procedures in the OR and possibly one day per week in the clinic.Adult outpatient (office/clinic) setting.Support Staff: Full OR staff, including both CRNA and Anesthesiologist support.No weekends, no call.Patient Load: 14-16 patients per day in the clinic.EMR: EpicERCP not required, but experience with advanced procedures is preferred.Onsite lab and X-ray available.Credentialing timeframe: 90 days.Travel expenses covered. Required Procedures: Lower GI EndoscopySigmoidoscopyColonoscopyUpper GI Endoscopy (Diagnostic, Biopsy, Foreign Body Removal, Banding of Varices)Therapeutic procedures preferred but not mandatory.
