Warehouse Lead/Supervisor - Weekend

Warehouse LeadAbacus Staffing is seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Lead to supervise, coordinate, and execute warehouse operations to ensure a safe, efficient, and high-performing environment. This full-time position reports directly to the Facility Manager and plays a key role in delivering accurate and timely service to our customers. Weekend and overtime flexibility may be required as business demands. Duties and Responsibilities Maintain a safe and compliant warehouse environment by enforcing safety policies, reviewing procedures, and ensuring proper layout and security standards. Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments, order fulfillment, and inventory control while addressing discrepancies. Support hiring and onboarding efforts to maintain appropriate staffing levels. Plan and communicate daily shift objectives; monitor KPIs and productivity metrics. Collaborate with leadership to forecast labor needs and manage costs effectively. Coach, train, and develop warehouse associates to drive performance and accountability. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback. Assist with customer physical inventories, site visits, and continuous improvement initiatives. Develop a working knowledge of all customer operations and step in as needed to support workflow. Operate lift equipment and assist on the floor when required. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a diverse workforce. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Effective communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse systems including WMS and RF scanners. Experience operating LP and electric lift trucks (roll clamp, carton clamp, forks). Availability for non-standard hours and ability to respond to operational needs. Preferred Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum three (3) years of leadership experience in warehouse operations. Physical Requirements Ability to work in hot and cold warehouse environments. Must be able to safely lift up to 60 pounds. Ability to operate a forklift for extended periods.
