Packaging and Assembly AssociateW2 ContractPay Rate: $23 - $28 per hourLocation: Foothill Ranch, CA - Onsite RoleJob Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and reliable Packaging and Assembly Associate to join our production team. This role is responsible for assembling components and finished products, inspecting parts, constructing shipping crates, packaging finished goods, and preparing products for shipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a commitment to maintaining quality, safety, and production standards.Duties and Responsibilities:Perform assembly operations from the preparation of raw materials to the completion of finished goods.Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to work instructions, drawings, diagrams, and specifications.Perform inspection, packaging, labeling, cleaning, and preparation of parts and finished products.Construct wooden crates and packaging materials in accordance with shipping and product protection requirements.Package, crate, label, and prepare products for domestic and international shipment.Inspect finished products and packaging to ensure compliance with quality standards and shipping requirements.Operate hand tools, power tools, assembly equipment, and packaging equipment safely and effectively.Maintain accurate production, packaging, and inventory records as required.Organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Assist with loading, unloading, moving, and staging materials, components, and finished goods.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation in accordance with company safety standards.Meet daily and weekly production and packaging goals and report any delays or issues to the supervisor.Follow all company policies, safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and applicable quality management system requirements.Adhere to ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures where required.Support team members and collaborate to resolve production and packaging issues.Perform other related duties as assigned to support production and operational needs.Requirements and Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum 2 years of experience in assembly, packaging, manufacturing, warehouse, or production environments preferred.Demonstrates understanding of verbal and written instructions in English.Proficient in reading and writing English, including work instructions, specifications, shipping documents, and forms.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with a commitment to producing high-quality work.Basic knowledge of assembly tools, power tools, measuring devices, and production equipment.Experience in constructing wooden crates and preparing products for shipment is preferred.Basic computer skills and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems are preferred.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Must have reliable transportation to and from the work environment.Desired Skills and ExperienceAssembly, Packaging, Manufacturing, Production, Mechanical Assembly, Electrical Assembly, Component Assembly, Finished Goods Assembly, Inspection, Quality Standards, Quality Control, Work Instructions, Drawings, Diagrams, Specifications, Labeling, Cleaning, Parts Preparation, Product Preparation, Wooden Crate Construction, Crating, Shipping Preparation, Domestic Shipping, International Shipping, Product Protection, Hand Tools, Power Tools, Assembly Equipment, Packaging Equipment, Production Records, Packaging Records, Inventory Records, Material Handling, Loading, Unloading, Moving Materials, Staging Materials, Fast-Paced Manufacturing Environment, Workstation Organization, Safety Standards, OSHA Requirements, Quality Management Systems, ESD Procedures, Electrostatic Discharge, Team Collaboration, Production Goals, Packaging Goals, ERP Systems, MRP Systems, Basic Computer Skills, English Reading, English Writing, Manual Dexterity, Attention to Detail, Organizational Skills, Independent Work, Teamwork, Warehouse, Reliable TransportationBayside Solutions, Inc. is not able to sponsor any candidates at this time.
