Product Developer
Duties:Receives day-to-day tasking from the ACO Airworthiness Director and is involved in all aspects of airworthiness product developmentActs as Flight Clearance Product Developer for interim and permanent flight clearancesDevelops content and executes updates for NATOPS and NATIP flight clearance publication setsDevelops content for Interim Flight ClearancesCreates transition plans to incorporate Interim Flight Clearance content into NATOPS/NATIPMaintains a record of all Flight Clearance actions to include; clearances issued, clearances expired and clearances in-workKeeps customer aware of actions required to maintain product currencyProvides the customer with NATOPS/NATIP planning and activity coordinationMaintains reports for content requirements traceability and defects against the productsEducation: A Bachelor’s degree is required. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTIONS: Two (2) years of DoD Aviation or flight clearance product set experience and an Associate degree may be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree. These two (2) years of experience are in addition to the required minimum of two (2) years to meet the “Experience” requirements below, requiring a total of four (4) years of experience. OR Four (4) years of DoD Aviation or flight clearance product set experience may be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree. These four (4) years of experience are in addition to the required minimum of two (2) years to meet the “Experience” requirements below, requiring a total of six (6) years of experience.Experience: Two (2) years DoD Aviation Operator or Maintenance Management or flight clearance product set experience.
