Pharmaceutical and Medicine ManufacturingMotor Vehicle ManufacturingSoap, Cleaning Compound, and Toilet Preparation ManufacturingOther Nonmetallic Mineral Product ManufacturingIndustrial Machinery ManufacturingBattery Manufacturing Project Engineer - Capital Projects & Production LaunchLocation: Onsite Manufacturing EnvironmentTravel: Up to 10% Domestic & InternationalSchedule: Full-Time | Weekend & Shutdown Support as Needed1489320)About the OpportunityWe are seeking a highly motivated Battery Manufacturing Project Engineer to support capital equipment installation, commissioning, and production launch activities within an advanced manufacturing environment.This role will support battery production line readiness from procurement through startup, working closely with engineering, construction management, technicians, vendors, and contractors to ensure successful project execution.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has experience supporting equipment installation, production preparation, project scheduling, and manufacturing launch activities.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with engineering teams, construction management, vendors, contractors, and technicians to achieve project milestonesSupport equipment procurement, installation planning, commissioning, and launch of battery production linesParticipate in clean room manufacturing protocols and advanced cleanliness standardsSupport production trials to confirm equipment safety, quality, uptime, and operational efficiencyIdentify punch list items, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actionsSupport KPI tracking, mass-production handover, and production issue resolutionCoordinate with domestic and international cross-functional teams on project schedules and milestonesCreate and maintain detailed project schedules for assigned manufacturing areasTrack and maintain project budgets for assigned capital investmentsComplete internal and external technical training as requiredRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical fieldExperience supporting capital project execution within manufacturing environmentsExperience managing projects involving capital investments greater than $500KStrong project scheduling experience related to equipment installation and manufacturing milestonesAbility to read and interpret 2D facility and process equipment drawingsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Experience with AutoCAD or other 2D/3D drafting softwareAbility to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%Ability to work weekends, holidays, and planned shutdown periods as project schedules requirePreferred QualificationsBattery manufacturing or automotive manufacturing experienceEquipment installation, startup, or commissioning experienceUnderstanding of production launch activities and manufacturing readinessStrong cross-functional communication and project coordination skillsExperience working in clean room or controlled manufacturing environmentsFamiliarity with manufacturing KPIs and production performance trackingIdeal CandidateThe ideal candidate is a detail-oriented engineer with strong project coordination skills who enjoys supporting equipment installation, manufacturing readiness, and production startup in a collaborative environment.Why This OpportunitySupport advanced battery manufacturing and production technologiesWork on large-scale manufacturing capital projectsCollaborate with domestic and international engineering teamsGain exposure to equipment commissioning and production launch activitiesContribute to next-generation manufacturing programs
