Billing Generalist

Our Billing Team at Northwestern Counseling & Support Services is seeking a full-time Billing Generalist. As a Billing Generalist, you will be an intricate member of our team. This position will be responsible for reviewing and researching insurance information while maintaining that information in our electronic medical record. Essential duties include:Adding Insurance information to our Electronic Medical Record systemSupport clients and treatment teams with Medicaid enrollmentVerifying Insurance EligibilityAssisting with Client StatementsAuditing for Billing Compliance Requirements:Strong customer service skillsPositive attitudeAbility to work independently and with a variety of personalitiesHigh School Diploma or equivalentProficiency in the use of Microsoft products including Outlook and ExcelAbility to maintain multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment honoring strict confidentiality lawsMust be organized and have a strong attention to detail At NCSS, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes perks such as medical and dental coverage, an employer-matched retirement plan, and educational support.
