Critical Response Nurse

Job Description Saint Luke's North Hospital is looking for a talented Registered Nurse to join our Critical Response team. Position Details: Registered Nurse - Critical Response NurseSchedule: Full Time, Nights 1745-0615The Critical Response Nurse, "CRN," role serves as team lead for clinical emergencies and time-critical diagnosis implementing protocols, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and standing orders. This nurse demonstrates solid clinical judgement, technical skill, and interpersonal communication with department leaders and bedside staff. The CRN demonstrates an ongoing commitment to positive patient outcomes and is self-motivated offering help as needed.Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Delegates tasks appropriately. Demonstrates increasing discriminatory judgment in interpreting data and prioritizes appropriately. Initiates actions to improve nursing practice patient care and unit processes. Serves as a day to day resource to colleagues at unit and departmental levels. Provides positive formal or informal leadership within unit and hospital.
