Program Manager for DODD Services

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable manager for our DODD (Department of Developmental Disabilities) Programs. This role includes developing and overseeing services such as Adult Day Programs, Non-Medical Transportation (NMT), Homemaker Personal Care, Supported Living, and Residential Respite. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in starting and successfully building these types of programs from the ground up, along with expertise in regulatory compliance, strategic program development, and quality assurance. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and oversee Adult Day Program services tailored to individuals with developmental disabilities. Planned and coordinated non-medical transportation (NMT) services, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with regulations. Manage and enhance Homemaker Personal Care services, focusing on individual care plans and quality of life. Design and oversee Supported Living programs to promote independence and community integration. Develop and administer Residential Respite services, providing temporary relief for primary caregivers. Ensure all programs meet compliance requirements set by local, state, and federal regulatory agencies, specifically DODD standards. Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals, families, case managers, and stakeholders. Handle budgeting, funding applications, and financial oversight to sustain and expand program offerings. Recruit, train, and supervise qualified program staff, ensuring continuous professional development. Establish and maintain strong community partnerships and referral networks. Monitor program performance regularly, applying feedback and outcomes to drive continuous improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Social Work, Public Health, Human Services, or related field preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years experience specifically starting and building DODD programs such as Adult Day Programs and Non-Medical Transportation (NMT). Extensive knowledge of DODD regulations and standards. Proven ability in program design, budget management, and staff supervision. Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Strong experience in grant writing and securing funding.
