This role focuses on efficient bulk cooking, menu planning, and timely service to ensure all team members are properly fueled during events and daily operations. The position reports directly to the Catering Chef and will assist with premium catering operations once employee meal service responsibilities are complete. The cook works in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and consistency.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook daily staff meals for employees across departmentsPlan balanced menus that accommodate dietary needs, allergies, and cultural preferencesExecute bulk food production efficiently for large employee countsEnsure meals are ready and served on schedule for shifts and breaksMaintain proper food temperatures, storage, labeling, and sanitation standardsMonitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the Catering ChefAssist with receiving, storing, and rotating food productsMaintain a clean, organized staff kitchen and serving areaSupport premium catering production and service as directed by the Catering Chef once staff meal duties are fulfilledFollow all health, safety, and company policiesSupport additional kitchen duties as assignedQualificationsExperience in high-volume cooking, institutional cooking, or employee dining preferredStrong knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety practicesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to follow recipes while adapting for large-batch productionFlexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and event daysAbility to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbsIntermediate Knife SkillsWork EnvironmentThis position operates in a fast-paced crowded kitchen supporting large-scale events and daily venue operations. The cook may work in hot, cold, or noisy conditions typical of commercial kitchens.This is a part time seasonal position eligible for benefits including accruing Colorado sick leave and 401K. $25.25
