Computer Numerical Control Programmer

CNC Programmer:My client is looking to hire a CNC Programmer who is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs to meet established standards of quality, productivity, and delivery within the assigned work cell.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and optimize CNC programs for 3, 4, and 5-axis mills and CNC lathesTake full responsibility for CNC programming and process execution for assigned parts and equipmentImprove manufacturing processes through tooling recommendations, fixture design, and cycle time optimizationCollaborate with machinists, operators, and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and accurate productionSupport new product introduction (NPI) and maintain high standards on repeat production workEnsure all programs and processes meet quality requirements, including GD&T standardsIdentify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance quality, efficiency, and throughputMaintain accurate documentation including work instructions and program revisionsAdhere to all safety, quality, and operational proceduresRequirementsMinimum of five (5) years of CNC programming experience (mills and/or lathes)Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint readingExperience with multi-axis machining (3, 4, and/or 5-axis)Proficiency with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, NX, or similar) preferredStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentStrong work ethic and commitment to quality and continuous improvementCompensation$40.00 – $50.00 per hour, depending on experience. Plus full benefit package.
