This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, maintains a safe and clean environment for patients, residents, and staff, and supports departmental goals. The Supervisor leads front-line staff, coordinates workflow, and assists the Manager or Director as needed in reporting, scheduling, and operational initiatives.Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is an hourly, full time, non-exempt leadership position. Extended hours may be necessary based on operational needs.$17.50/hrEssential Functions And DutiesSupervise, coach, and support EVS technicians, floor techs, and laundry staff on assigned shifts.Oversee laundry operations, ensuring timely processing, quality control, and infection prevention compliance.Conduct inspections of patient/resident rooms, public spaces, and laundry areas to ensure quality and safety standards are met.Ensure compliance with OSHA, CMS, TJC, and other applicable regulations.Coordinate daily staffing assignments, schedules, and workflow to meet operational needs.Report departmental performance, issues, and metrics to the Manager or Director.Train new staff and ensure ongoing staff development and compliance with organizational policies.Respond to staff and operational issues in real-time to maintain smooth operations.General Responsibility As Required For PositionResponsible for acting in conformance with all facility and departmental policies and procedures including those relating to Human Resources, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Health and Safety regulations, Compliance requirements, Patient Rights, Confidentiality, and HIPAA.
