Construction/Program Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a Program Manager to lead our housing rehabilitation programs. This role oversees project execution, compliance, and client services to ensure high-quality program delivery and community impact. The current Program Manager is retiring in the fall and this hire will work side-by-side with her until she retires.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily operations of housing and construction programs in compliance with federal and organizational guidelinesOversee construction projects, including home assessments, scopes of work, cost estimates, and contractor coordinationDevelop and maintain relationships with contractors, funders, and key stakeholdersSupervise staff, contractors, and volunteers to ensure timely and effective service deliveryEnsure program compliance through file reviews, audits, and accurate reportingAchieve/Maintain HUD Housing Counseling Certification and ensure proper documentation and billingDevelop outreach strategies and build partnerships to expand program reachAssist in program development and grant support effortsQualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience in general constructionExperience estimating full construction projectsWorking knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and building codesStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentCase management or housing counseling experience preferredValid driver’s license and reliable transportation requiredMust pass background check and drug screeningBenefits:401(k)401(k) 3% MatchDental insuranceDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceApplication Question(s):Candidates must complete a sample job estimate based on a work scope that will be provided.
