Job Title: SQL Developer (T-SQL) w/Classic ASP (VBScript) Job ID: 26-00892 Location: Remote Duration: 06 months of contract Develop SQL queries in SQL Server using T-SQL, update reports, and do some Classic ASP (VBScript) work, along with SSIS. Tools include VS Studio, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), and Notepad++Job Description Client needs a SQL-heavy developer (T-SQL) who is experienced with Classic ASP (VBScript), and has experience maintaining and supporting legacy systems in production environments.Core skills neededStrong SQL Server / T-SQL experienceWriting and optimizing complex queriesPerformance tuning (indexes, execution plans, refactoring)Stored procedures, views, and troubleshooting production issuesClassic ASP (VBScript) experienceMaintaining and enhancing existing codeADO, session management, request/response lifecycleComfortable debugging older, minimally documented applicationsProven experience supporting legacy production systems, including vendor-provided applicationsNice-to-have skillsExperience supporting or coordinating with third-party/vendor applicationsBasic IIS and Windows hosting knowledge (app pools, permissions, deployments)Familiarity with modernization patterns (not required to implement, but helpful context)Key expectationsComfortable working in legacy environments where stability is criticalStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsAble to work independently with limited documentationFocused on safe, incremental improvements and support.Compensation The hourly rate for this position is between $56.00 - $60.00 per hour.Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include [geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate].Benefits Sunrise offers ACA compliant medical coverage/dental insurance/vision insurance to all employees.
