Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Paralegal

Del Pino & Granados Law Firm seeks a bi-lingual paralegal to help with all phases of Chapter 13 consumer bankruptcy. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about helping clients navigate through the bankruptcy process and who wants to work with a dedicated team and experienced lawyer. Hours are Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM. Salary is compensable based on experience. Assist lawyer(s) with preparing and filing bankruptcy petitions, motions, and other court documents. Assist lawyer(s) and communicate with clients regarding deficiencies for confirmation. Communicate with clients, creditors, and court staff. Manage and organize bankruptcy files, including preparing and filing required schedules, statements, and other paperwork. Provide support to lawyers during bankruptcy hearings and mediations. Ensure that all bankruptcy documents are filed in a timely and accurate manner. Court docket and correspondence management. Requirements: 5+ years of experience as a Bankruptcy Paralegal. Pleasant phone demeanor and ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff. Strong knowledge of bankruptcy laws and procedures. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
