New York, New YorkJob DescriptionPillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP is seeking to hire a 2nd or 3rd year associate to join the NewYork Litigation-General practice group in the Litigation Global Business Unit, a fast-paced andexciting group that provides the highest level of client service. The successful candidate shouldhave a strong academic background along with exceptional research, writing, analytical, andcommunication skills. The candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of litigation (factinvestigation, pleadings, discovery, experts, motions, pretrial, trial, settlement, etc.) and developingand maintaining strong business and client relationships. Ability to work effectively under pressureand to meet deadlines is essential. Just as important, the candidate should have strong organizationaland matter management skills. Previous or current employment with an Am Law 100 firm isdesired.Candidate is required to have a bachelor's degree and a Juris Doctor degree (JD) from an accreditedU.S. law school and be a member of the New York State Bar in good standing.
