Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead end-to-end execution of a large-scale cloud and data modernization program for a leading telecommunications client. The Program Manager will be responsible for coordinating multiple technical and business workstreams across assessment, architecture, platform foundation, revenue data product implementation, production launch, stabilization, and transition. The ideal candidate will have strong client-facing leadership skills and demonstrated experience managing complex programs involving cloud, data engineering, architecture, DevOps/platform, data governance, BI, QA, and production transition teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end program planning and execution across multiple workstreams.* Own integrated program planning, scope, schedule, milestones, and dependencies.* Manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) and drive timely resolution.* Oversee T&M financial management, forecasting, budget tracking, and resource planning.* Manage resource forecasting across onshore, nearshore, and offshore teams.* Establish and maintain program governance, operating cadence, and executive reporting.* Coordinate cross-functional teams across business, architecture, data engineering, DevOps/platform, governance, BI, QA, and production transition.* Manage phase gates, readiness reviews, and production launch activities.* Drive change control and assess impacts to scope, schedule, resources, and financials.* Identify and manage cross-workstream dependencies.* Provide regular status updates and executive-level reporting to client leadership.* Lead program-level decision management and escalation processes.* Coordinate stabilization activities following production launch.* Support transition of the solution into ongoing operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong experience managing complex technology, cloud, and data modernization programs.* Demonstrated client-facing leadership experience.* Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.* Experience with program financial management, including T&M management and forecasting.* Strong decision management and problem-solving capabilities.* Experience managing blended onshore, nearshore, and offshore delivery teams.* Experience coordinating multiple technical and business workstreams.* Strong understanding of program governance, RAID management, dependencies, change control, and executive reporting.* Experience leading programs through implementation, production launch, stabilization, and transition.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of modern Microsoft Azure data platforms.* Experience with Databricks and modern data engineering architectures.* Experience with cloud data modernization programs.* Experience in the telecommunications industry.* Experience working with large enterprise clients and geographically distributed teams.* PMP, SAFe, or other relevant program/project management certification is a plus. Work Location & Schedule* Dallas, Texas* Hybrid work arrangement.* Initial expectation: 2-3 days per week onsite for the first 6 weeks.* Candidates should be able to work onsite as required.
