Principal Machine Learning Developer: AI/ML Platform

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Machine Learning Developer: AI/ML Platform to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.This role will shape the engineering foundation behind AI and machine learning capabilities, with a strong emphasis on reliable deployment, scalable infrastructure, and production-ready systems. You will partner closely with ML researchers, data engineers, and product teams to improve how models are trained, governed, monitored, and released. The position is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who can elevate MLOps practices while driving operational excellence across the broader ML lifecycle.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $153,000 – $224,400 annuallyResponsibilities Drive operational excellence across the AI/ML platform by optimizing MLOps practices Lead the design and engineering of scalable software systems for AI/ML Design and implement automated deployment processes for ML models and artifacts Develop systems for automating and improving ML development workflows Collaborate on infrastructure design for model training and data processing Build tools for deploying and operating ML solutions in production Implement monitoring systems for model performance and platform efficiency Foster collaboration among ML researchers, data engineers, and product teamsQualifications 5+ years of experience in machine learning operations (MLOps) Strong background in software development and system architecture Experience designing automated deployment pipelines for ML models Experience with scalable infrastructure for data processing and model training Knowledge of version control systems and model governance practices Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards Excellent collaboration skills across cross-functional teamsBenefits Comprehensive benefits package Annual cash bonuses Stock grants Competitive salary packageOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
