Architectural Job Captain

We are passionate about creating thoughtful environments and developing team members who thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.We are seeking a Job Captain to support our integrated team through strong technical execution, coordination, and ownership of project documentation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, motivated to grow, and can contribute meaningfully to both design and construction processes while continuing to develop their leadership and technical skills.Primary Responsibilities:* Lead the production and coordination of project drawing sets across all phases.* Develop and manage the Revit model to ensure accuracy and alignment with project goals.* Coordinate with consultants and internal team members to resolve design and documentation challenges.* Support project execution by maintaining organized project files and managing day-to-day documentation tasks.* Participate in and support Construction Administration efforts, including submittal review and field coordination.* Conduct project-specific code research and apply findings to design and documentation.* Prepare graphics, renderings, and materials for client and internal presentations.* Organize and participate in project meetings, document meeting minutes and action items.* Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and field staff to address constructability and coordination issues.Job RequirementsQualifications:* Bachelor"s or master"s degree in architecture from an accredited school* 5 - 7 years of relevant professional experience* Proficiency in Revit with the ability to produce and coordinate contract documents* Experience with BIM coordination and clash detection software preferred* Working knowledge of construction documentation, detailing, and building systems* Basic understanding of building codes and permitting processes* Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills* Strong organizational and time management skills* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with minimal direction* Willingness and ability to travel as needed
