Medical Device Sales - Office Based - Long Island
Medical Device Sales Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing medical device organization developing innovative diabetes-focused technologies designed for physician offices and clinical care teams. They are seeking a high-performing Medical Device Sales Representative to drive product adoption and revenue growth within an assigned territory.This role will focus on calling on Primary Care Physicians (PCPs) and Endocrinologists, educating healthcare professionals, and demonstrating the clinical and economic value of the solution. The ideal candidate brings a strong record of documented sales success, a consultative selling approach, and the ability to build long-term provider relationships.Responsibilities:Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas within the territoryTarget, prospect, and develop new business with PCPs and EndocrinologistsIdentify and generate sales leads through proactive outreach, including cold callingDevelop and execute territory business plans aligned with overall growth strategiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and clinical staffPresent product demonstrations and deliver training and education to customersManage promotional initiatives to drive adoption and customer loyaltyStay current on products, competitors, market dynamics, and industry trendsClearly articulate the product’s value proposition to clinical and economic stakeholdersEngage in managed markets, leveraging knowledge of payer and managed care environmentsAttend ongoing training on new technologies and participate in relevant professional organizationsRequirements:Bachelor’s DegreeMin. 2+ years of Sales experience within Medical Device/Sales and/or Pharmaceutical SalesExperience selling diabetes medication/products to PCPs and Endocrinologists strongly preferredProven “hunter” mentality with experience prospecting and cold callingDocumented history of meeting or exceeding sales goalsStrong territory management, budgeting, and sales planning skillsExcellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilitiesProficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft OfficeOffering:Base Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 (commensurate with experience)Year 1 On-Target Earnings: $180,000 - $200,000+ (uncapped)Commissions paid monthlyTop Reps are earning over $300,000Ramp Guarantee up to $20KCar allowance $750 + All gas, tolls, oil changesComprehensive benefits package, HSA401KEquity participationDirect Sales Recruiting, LLC (DSR) and DirectHR are national recruitment organizations partnering with national, regional, and local clients to deliver top talent and long-term career opportunities.
