In this role, you will be responsible for performing production processes within our Manufacturing Department, specifically supporting the development and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems and subsystems used in UV Curing equipment.Duties and Responsibilities:Assemble electronics according to product specificationsFollow blueprints to put together electronic devices, tools and products using hand and power tools and other assembly equipmentAssemble and wire lamp housingsRead and interpret wiring schematics and specification sheets.Build UV power supplies and lampsFabrication and assembly of harnessesConduct HPI UV System Testing under direction and supervisionTesting of Microwave UV power supplies and lamps under direction and supervisionAssemble/wire HPI UV Back Panels and power cabinets per instructionsPerform RF Detector CalibrationsAbility to assist Service Department and interact with customersTroubleshoot equipment and collaborate with Engineering Department to resolve issuesDocument non-conforming materialsAssist in the training of othersCommitment to following all company, industry and regulatory safety requirements, including PPE and Lockout/Tagout proceduresOther duties as assignedMinimum Requirements5+ years pertinent experience building and assembling electromechanical systemsAssociates degree in Electronics or commensurate experienceAdvanced knowledge of the use of hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment.Demonstrated knowledge of electrical safety principles related to medium/high voltage equipment, including the ability to recognize and mitigate electrical hazardsGood manual dexterity in handling of small objects & toolsRead and interpret schematicsExcellent attention to detailIntermediate math skills, including use of metric system measurements, fractions, and decimals.Ability to communicate well with others at all levels of the organization, including external clients, visitors, etc.Additional AttributesVocational/Technical trainingWillingness to take required training classesPLC knowledge is a big plus!Understanding 5S / Lean Concepts is a big plus!Work Hours:Miltec business hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
