LVN-Licensed Vocational Nurses (10p-6a) 4 on 2 off

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our nursing home team for the overnight shift. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to our residents during nighttime, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, a strong work ethic, compassion and the ability to work independently while collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers Monitor and assess patient conditions, focusing on vital signs and overall well-being Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans Provide compassionate care to patients, with emphasis on senior care and geriatrics Utilize suture skills for wound care management when necessary Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation Assist in dementia care and support programs for patients with cognitive impairments Administer injections and perform other medical procedures Apply physiological knowledge to assess patient responses to treatments Other related duties as assigned Key Qualifications: Active LVN license in Texas in good standing Proven experience in senior care is preferred Strong understanding of geriatric care principles and practices preferred Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations and interpret results effectively Proficiency in medical record keeping and documentation Experience in critical care settings is a plus Compassionate attitude towards patients with a focus on delivering quality care Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team We Offer: Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Professional development opportunities Join us in making a difference in the lives of those we serve.
