Job Description
Position Summary: We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Production Workers to support operations within a manufacturing or pilot production environment. This role is responsible for performing a variety of production, assembly, material handling, inspection, and equipment support tasks in accordance with established work instructions, safety requirements, and quality standards.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee Hegla Galatic fully automated glass cutting equipment to cut glass lites to sizes for production in IGUs and windowsComplete manual glass separation of discrete glass sheets from mother sheet.Load glass carts and stage for sequencing in productionInspect incoming glass and completed IGUs for defects Operate lift assist equipment to pick up IGUs (?50 lbs) off the end of the production line and place onto stationary A-Frame or carts Work closely with Operations Supervisors and Engineering to detect glass defects and / or equipment and process challenges Build crates to store IGUs in for shipping; stage completed parts for freight pick upPrepare finished product for shipment per packaging instructionsConduct operator maintenance and cleanliness of the production equipmentCompany DescriptionElevaIT is a certified and values driven Service-Disabled Veteran owned global staffing and IT professional services firm serving Fortune 1000 clients with customized and scalable workforce solutions.
