Our teams impact the world.About The RoleOur Controller is responsible for month-end close across multiple entities — including consolidations, budgeting, reconciliations, account analysis, journal entries, and ad hoc reporting. This role supports critical accounting, reporting, and internal control functions across domestic and international business units.What You'll DoManage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities — including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, fixed assets, inventory, payroll, and capitalized softwarePrepare and analyze accurate, timely financial statements: income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statementsWork with executive management to establish financial benchmarks, budgets, and reporting standards on a bi-weekly, monthly, and annual basisParticipate in the collaborative forecasting and budgeting process, incorporating key business drivers and strategiesPerform monthly revenue recognition in conjunction with the project management teamMaintain accounting records and internal controls, including contracts, workpapers, policies, and timelinesEnsure accuracy of physical inventory and reported results; investigate and explain book-to-physical adjustmentsEnsure bill of materials and costing accurately reflect production operations — including labor, materials, overhead, distribution, returns, and inventory levelsAnalyze potential excess and obsolete inventory itemsAssure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Serve as a liaison between Finance and other departments across the organizationParticipate in special projects and additional responsibilities as assignedWhat You'll BringBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field — CPA or CMA designation highly preferred10+ years of experience in general accounting and financial reporting, including internal controlsExperience in a manufacturing or production environment preferredKnowledge of job costing principles and project accounting practicesStrong aptitude for ERP and financial/accounting systemsExcellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelIn-depth knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controlsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to produce accurate, complete, and timely workAbility to work independently and manage assigned projects with minimal oversightExcellent communication skills — comfortable working across all levels of the organizationReady to Power the Future?Put your accounting expertise to work in an industry that keeps the world's power infrastructure running.
