For more information visit OWLServices.com and follow us on LinkedIn .Role:We are seeking a Traveling Journeyman Electrician / Foreman to support our Site Superintendent in the execution of commercial electrical construction projects nationwide. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring “tools-in-hand” productivity while assisting in the coordination of daily field operations. The position supports crew direction, installation sequencing, and jobsite execution while ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with NEC requirements and project specifications. This role will occasionally lead small crews and assist the Superintendent in maintaining production flow, schedule awareness, and jobsite discipline. The ideal candidate is a high-performing Journeyman who leads by example, takes ownership of assigned scopes, and thrives in schedule-driven commercial environments. This is a long-term opportunity with a growing company focused on execution, accountability, and professional standards.Responsibilities Field Installation & Production Execute commercial electrical installations in strict accordance with project drawings, specifications, and NEC requirementsPerform layout, installation, and termination of conduit systems (EMT, rigid, PVC), feeders, panels, switchgear, transformers, lighting systems, and related commercial systemsDemonstrate strong working knowledge of ground-up commercial construction sequencing and adapt installations to evolving site conditionsRead and interpret blueprints, one-lines, panel schedules, and specifications independentlyMaintain high productivity standards while meeting project schedules and quality expectations and critical schedule milestones Crew Leadership & Superintendent Support Support the Superintendent in coordinating daily field operations and manpower allocationLead small crews when required, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and correctly the first timeProvide technical guidance to apprentices and other electricians while maintaining strong jobsite accountabilityMaintain organized work areas, material control, professional jobsite standards, and proactively identify potential conflicts, scope gaps, or material shortages before they impact progress Safety & Quality Control Uphold and enforce company safety standards on every taskParticipate in daily safety meetings and job hazard planningSupport testing, commissioning preparation, and turnover documentation as required Communication & Accountability Communicate production progress and field challenges clearly to the SuperintendentTake ownership of assigned scopes from start to completionMaintain professionalism when interacting with general contractors, inspectors, and other tradesQualificationsMinimum 6+ years of commercial electrical construction experience, including ground-up commercial projectsValid and current State Journeyman Electrical License required for this position (must be active and in good standing)Applicants from states that do not issue a formal Journeyman license must provide documented proof of equivalent certification, apprenticeship completion, or state-recognized credential demonstrating Journeyman-level qualification for further reviewCandidates without a state-issued or equivalent credential may be considered for other field positions but will not qualify for this Traveling Journeyman / Working Foreman roleDemonstrated experience in conduit installation, feeder installations, panel terminations, and commercial power distribution systemsStrong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, one-lines, and specifications independentlyProven ability to maintain productivity in schedule-driven commercial construction environmentsValid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving standardsAbility to pass background screening and pre-employment drug testingMust attend in-person orientation and training during the first week at the Fort Worth, TX officePhysically capable of performing commercial electrical construction work in active jobsite environmentsTravel RequirementsThis is a nationwide traveling position requiring up to 85% travel throughout the yearCandidates must be able to commit to extended out-of-town assignments aligned with project schedules, which may span multiple weeks or months; opportunities to return home may be available based on project schedule and coordination with field leadershipFlexibility to adjust to varying work hours, site conditions, and schedule shifts is requiredMust demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and professional conduct while representing the company on multi-state job sites This role is not suitable for candidates seeking local, home-state, or short-term work only.
