This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a high-impact project developing a new loan origination system for a financial services enterprise. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing both front-end and back-end components, utilizing a modern technology stack including Node.js, Apollo GraphQL, React, and AWS cloud services. The role requires close collaboration with experienced team leads and product managers to define system requirements, ensure technical excellence, and deliver robust solutions. This position provides a platform for professional growth, allowing the engineer to learn new technologies, refine core skills, and contribute meaningfully to a critical business initiative.QualificationsMinimum of 4 years of professional software development experience.Strong proficiency with TypeScript and Node.js.Experience with GraphQL, preferably Apollo or Federated GraphQL.Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.Working knowledge of SQL databases.Proficiency in React for front-end development.Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Github Actions.Full application stack development experience, from front-end interfaces to data persistence layers.Understanding of the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to post-implementation support.Comfort with Linux command line operations.Strong curiosity and passion for technology, with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn new concepts and tools.Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.High integrity, professionalism, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Excellent communication skills, both within teams and with clients.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain a comprehensive loan origination system utilizing Node.js, Apollo GraphQL, React, Camunda, and AWS services including EKS, Lambda, S3, MSK, and Aurora.Perform hands-on development of both back-end and front-end components, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.Collaborate closely with tech leads and product teams to gather and refine system requirements, translating business needs into technical solutions.Create and maintain clear, accurate, and accessible technical documentation for all developed components and systems.Participate actively in Agile development practices, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure continuous delivery and improvement.Proactively share knowledge and best practices within the team, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.Represent GrabJobs professionally, demonstrating expertise, integrity, and a commitment to delivering value to clients and stakeholders.Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive client information at all times.Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance the system and development practices.BenefitsAt GrabJobs, we believe in rewarding our team members with exceptional benefits that support their health, well-being, and professional development.
