Employees benefit from a culture that values innovation and continuous improvement.Salary/Hourly Rate:$130k - $150k AnnuallyPosition Overview:The Controller will ensure accurate GAAP-compliant financial reporting, lead budgeting and forecasting, and oversee all aspects of job cost accounting and WIP reporting. This role is responsible for monitoring project margins, managing the month-end close, and maintaining robust internal controls. The Controller will supervise AP, AR, and billing functions, support cash flow and capital planning, and coordinate with external CPA firms for compliance.Responsibilities of the Controller:Prepare and review GAAP-compliant financial statements.Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes.Oversee job cost accounting and WIP (Work in Progress) reporting.Monitor project margins and billings for accuracy and profitability.Manage month-end close and general ledger reconciliations.Supervise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Billing teams.Maintain and enhance internal controls and financial procedures.Support cash flow management and capital planning initiatives.Coordinate with the external CPA firm for audits and compliance.Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.Required Experience/Skills for the Controller:Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.Experience with job cost accounting and WIP reporting.Ability to manage month-end close and general ledger functions.Supervisory experience in AP, AR, and billing.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Experience supporting cash flow and capital planning.Ability to coordinate with external auditors and CPA firms.Preferred Experience/Skills for the Controller:Experience in construction or project-based accounting.Familiarity with ERP/accounting software.Prior experience implementing or improving internal controls.Exposure to multi-entity or multi-location environments.Education Requirements:* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.* CPA or advanced accounting certification is preferred.Benefits:* Client-provided benefits available, upon eligibility.
