Two dedicated SLPs are retiring, opening the door for skilled professionals eager to fill these vital roles and ensure smooth transitions for students receiving speech and language services. As a school-based SLP, you'll work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments. Evaluate and treat speech, language, and communication disorders, develop personalized intervention plans, and monitor progress to foster students' communication success. Your expertise will be valued as you provide direct therapy, conduct assessments, and participate in IEP meetings. Desired Experience & QualificationsHold a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited programCurrent or pending state licensure or eligibilityCertificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or clinical fellowship candidates consideredPrevious experience in a school setting preferredStrong skills in conducting speech/language assessments and developing IEPsExcellent communication and teamwork abilities Primary ResponsibilitiesDeliver speech-language therapy to students with varied needsCollaborate with teaching staff and parents to support student goalsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans and progress monitoringMaintain thorough and accurate records in accordance with school policiesAssist with transition planning and offer support as students advance grades or schools These contract roles provide an outstanding opportunity to contribute to positive change at a time of transition for the school community.
