Steel Fabrication Estimator – $85K–$95K + BonusMoon Fabricating Corp – Kokomo, INFull-Time | OnsiteMoon Fabricating is seeking a Steel Fabrication Estimator to support bidding and project setup for tanks, ductwork, stacks, hoppers, and custom plate metal components.This role centers on reviewing customer-provided drawings and specifications, performing accurate material takeoffs, and working closely with the shop to establish realistic labor hours and production methods. All projects are based on client-supplied drawings.What You’ll DoReview customer drawings and specifications for fabrication projectsPerform detailed material takeoffs (plate, pipe, structural steel)Develop Bills of Material (BOMs) for purchasingCollaborate with shop leadership to determine labor hours and fabrication approachIdentify practical build considerations during the estimating phaseSupport project handoff to the shop after awardAssist with updates and detailing of existing drawings in AutoCAD or SolidWorksWhat We’re Looking ForExperience in steel fabrication, estimating, drafting support, or related fieldAbility to read and interpret fabrication drawings and weld symbolsUnderstanding of how fabricated components are produced (tanks, duct, stacks, etc.)Ability to evaluate labor and production requirementsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsWorking proficiency in AutoCAD or SolidWorksCompensation$85,000 – $95,000 base salaryPerformance-based bonusFull-time, onsite role in Kokomo, INAnnual salary with performance-based bonus opportunities.401(k) retirement plan with company matching.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Health Savings Account (HSA) and Life Insurance.Paid Time Off including holidays and vacation.Stable Monday through Friday work schedule.About UsMoon Fabricating Corp is a world-class leader in custom steel fabrication and specialized lining services.
