This strategic leadership role is pivotal for an operations executive with a background in complex, high-volume environments, particularly those with experience in leading unionized workforces. The successful candidate will be responsible for all site operations, from warehouse to inventory control, and must be adept at partnering with regional and area leadership to align operational objectives with business strategies.Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Operations include strategic planning and execution, driving continuous improvement, and integrating operations functions to ensure cross-departmental alignment. The role also involves leading operational change management in automated environments, guiding teams through technology adoption, and fostering a culture of engagement and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in transformational initiatives, strong competency in budgeting, cost management, and safety programs, and a deep understanding of regulatory compliance, particularly in DOT, OSHA, and food safety standards.
