Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies. Oversee cycle counting and physical inventory processes, identifying and resolving root causes of variances. Manage inventory levels to optimize stock while minimizing carrying costs and avoiding stockouts. Analyze inventory data and generate reports to identify trends, forecast demand, and recommend improvements. Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics to ensure efficient material flow and inventory turns. Lead and develop the inventory control team, providing training and performance management. Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in inventory management within a manufacturing environment. Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics). Strong understanding of inventory control principles, including cycle counting, ABC analysis, and demand forecasting. Demonstrated ability to analyze data and implement process improvements to optimize inventory levels. Bonus QualificationsExperience with ERP system implementation or optimization. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. APICS CSCP or CPIM certification. Project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
