🚨 Hiring: Senior Java Software Engineer – AWS Cloud & Gen AI🏢 Work Model: Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week📅 Duration: 12-month contract with possible extensionImportant: This is a 100% Backend role, not Frontend.We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java, AWS Cloud, and Gen AI.Required Skills:• 8+ years of software development experience (6+ years with a Master’s degree)• 8+ years of Java development experience (6+ years with a Master’s degree)• 3+ years of AWS cloud development experience• Hands-on experience with AWS services including CloudFormation, ECS, Lambda, Fargate, and Elasticsearch• Strong understanding of IAM roles and policies• Experience using Gen AI for software development• CI/CD experience with Jenkins and/or Azure DevOps• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related fieldNice to Have:• Batch/stream processing experience with SQS, SNS, or Kinesis• Swagger and Postman• Test-driven development (TDD)• Selenium and Cucumber⚠️ Important Requirement: Candidates must already be local to Peoria, IL or Chicago, IL.
