Superintendent - Commercial / Residential Construction (Miami, FL)(Also known as: Construction Superintendent | Site Superintendent | Field Superintendent)Miami, FL | Full-Time | On-site | Local Candidates PreferredAs a long-established South Florida General Contractor (nearly 60 years), we are hiring an experienced Construction Superintendent to run day-to-day field operations and lead projects from groundbreaking through final inspection. This is a hands-on role for someone who can drive schedule, enforce safety, coordinate trades, and deliver high-quality work-on time and to specCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary (based on experience)Performance-based bonusesHealth insurance PTO (vacation + holidays + health/sick)Career growth with a growing companyWhy this roleStrong pipeline of active and upcoming projects in the Miami marketLead the jobsite with real authority-solve issues fast and keep production movingWork with a team that values safety, quality, and accountabilityWhat you'll do (Core Responsibilities)Supervise all phases of construction from mobilization to punch-outCoordinate daily workflow with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teamsMaintain project schedule, look-aheads, manpower planning, and production goalsEnforce company safety policies and OSHA standards; lead safety meetings and inspectionsMaintain quality control and ensure work meets plans, specs, and building codesProvide daily updates to PMs (progress, delays, manpower, deliveries, issues, solutions)Maintain accurate documentation: daily reports, photos, field notes, logsReview field conditions and support/change order scope coordination with PMCoordinate inspections with local authorities and regulatory bodiesResolve jobsite conflicts and keep crews productive and alignedRequired Qualifications (We will screen for these)3+ years experience as a Construction SuperintendentProven experience running projects $1M+Experience in commercial and/or residential construction (institutional a plus)Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and drawingsKnowledge of construction means/methods, materials, and applicable building codesComfortable managing schedule, sequencing, manpower, and trade coordinationProficient with basic tech/tools for documentation (Microsoft Office; Procore or similar a plus)Valid driver's license and reliable transportationStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsWork environment: Able to work full-time on active job sites in varied weather conditions, including walking uneven terrain, climbing ladders/stairs, and standing for extended periods; able to safely operate in a fast-paced construction environment while meeting deadlines.Apply NowApply with your resume.
