As responsible corporate citizens, we integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations into our business practices, ensuring that we positively impact the healthcare companies we serve, our employees, and the communities we reach.Job DutiesOversee daily operations of medical officeMaintain on-site presence during business hoursHire, train and supervise all location support staff (excluding doctors)Post patient charges and paymentsVerify patient information including insurance statusMaintain schedules for doctors, patients, and staffInventory and order medical and office suppliesTabulate payroll and track PTO timeReview all daily/weekly/monthly paperwork including day sheets, patient information (charts and accounts), billing, fee slips, mail, correspondence, etc.Maintain appropriate office records including OSHA, employee files, maintenance, etc.Ensure proper staffing of office, performing any and all duties as neededInterface with other departments including billing, MIS, marketing, human resources, and officesPerform other duties and assignments as directed and/or as necessaryMaintain office in neat, clean orderly fashionDispense medications and maintain proper documentationMaintain monthly goalsHold weekly staff meetings and maintain proper documentationComplete weekly stats on prepared spreadsheetsUphold the company’s mission to provide exceptional patient care, and leads in a way that aligns with the company’s ESG goalsIf considered a coverage/floating Office Manager, travels to any office within one’s region (example – Pennsylvania market or Greater Baltimore market)Other duties as assignedMinimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED equivalent2 years medical office experience preferredKnowledge of computers and medical office proceduresAdditional Skills/CompetenciesExcellent verbal and written communication skills1-2 years supervisory experienceProblem solving and organizational skillsTypes 40+ WPMKnowledge of insurance, workers’ compensation, and personal injuryCertification such as Chiropractic Assistant, Medical Assistant or Radiological TechnologistAbility to effectively interact with doctors, attorneys, patients, and co-workersWilling to travel to another office for coverage as neededPhysical/Mental RequirementsSitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, working with body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, lifting maximum of 20 lbs.Diversity StatementExcelsia Injury Care is an equal opportunity employer.
